Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins Statement on Hispanic Heritage Month

Published:

"Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to recognize the generations of Hispanic and Latino residents whose hard work, talent and dedication continue to strengthen Westchester County. Their contributions can be seen in every part of our community, from our schools and small businesses to our neighborhoods, arts and public service.

“Our diversity is one of Westchester’s greatest strengths, and it’s something we should continue to celebrate. This month, I encourage everyone to support a local Hispanic-owned business, enjoy one of the many cultural events taking place throughout the County and learn more about the people and traditions that help make Westchester such a great place to live. On behalf of Westchester County, I wish everyone a happy and meaningful Hispanic Heritage Month.”
